Prominent and illustrious
Punjabi residents of Nashik formed Guru Gobind
Singh Foundation in 1978. As the worthy
followers of the great saint soldier Guru Gobind
Singh, the Foundation set itself the aim of
imparting high-grade education together with
cultural activities to the children of Nashik in
a purely secular environment.
Guru Gobind Singh
Foundation is Registered Society and trust under
Societies Act 1860 (Registration No. MAH/558/NASIK
dt. 29/02/1980) and Public Trust under Bombay
Public Trust Act 1950 (Registration No. F-506 dt.
07/061080), under Charity Commissioner Govt. of
Maharashtra, Nasik since 1980.
The
Management Committee consisting of 19 elected
and 2 co-opted members, who are also the
trustees, manage the trust. The 7 office bearers
from the committee are responsible for managing
the day-to-day affairs of the foundation. The
term of the Management Committee is 2 years and
the Constitution of Foundation governs it

And Objectives Of Foundation And Vision -
The
foundation is committed to impart quality
education irrespective of caste, creed, religion
and nationality of students to promote morality,
patriotism, self-respect and self-confidence.
Development of all round personality of the
students is the corner stone of the education
philosophy of the foundation.
Foundation's
Plans For Expansion Of Activities -
As
part of the larger vision for spread of
technical and general education, the Foundation
has drawn up long term ambitious plan to set up
the following educational institutions at Khalsa
complex, Wadala Pathardi Road (Guru Gobind Singh
Marg) Nasik.

Institute (Already started in 2001)

Degree Institute for training high-end courses.

A
Management School offering various levels of
courses in Business Management.

residential hostel for the students.

Gymnasium hall.

track of international standards.
8.
A
hall for meditation and to run divinity and
spiritual classes.

An
ultra modern English Medium School (already
running) and Junior College.
As
an initial step towards achievements of the
above goal, Guru Gobind Singh Foundation decided
to build and ultra-modern four storied building
with very spacious class rooms, laboratories,
library hall, seminar & conference hall and
other amenities comprising a total built up area
of around 85,000 sq. ft. at Khalsa complex for
Guru Gobind Singh Polytechnic. This complex is
being developed on large expanse of land
admeasuring 12 acres, situated on Wadala
Pathardi Road (Guru Gobind Singh Marg), against
beautiful backdrop pf Pandavlena hills and
Dadasaheb Phalke Memorial. This plot of land has
been donated free of cost by Shree Bharat Co-op
Housing Society Ltd., a venture of Punjabi
residents of Nasik. The complex offers ideal set
up for studies and research work amidst serene
surroundings.
